Mindful Authentic Connection

Mindful Authentic Connection (MAC):

"Authenticity is not something we have or don't have. It's a practice - a conscious choice of how we want to live.

Mindful Authentic Connection

***NEXT ROUND BEGINS JANUARY 5th, 2024***

The Mindful Authentic Connection (MAC) is a practice community that meets weekly to explore a path of cultivating greater authenticity and authentic expression in our lives.

During our time together each week, I will lead a meditation practice, offer a theme and a teaching related to the topic of navigating our lives with authenticity, and provide a safe, trauma-sensitive space, where community members can connect with one another to explore their process of integrating these teachings and practices into their lives.

We will explore the experience of authentic connection, identify what supports it and what stifles it, learn to work with the challenges that we encounter along our paths, and practice being in the experience of authentic connection with one another. The overarching intention of the MAC group is to cultivate a "practice community", that holds a shared aspiration of living authentically.

Themes, practices, and teachings offered each week will be Mindfulness-Based and will be oriented toward Compassion/Self-Compassion, Nervous System regulation, Somatic healing, Attachment Science, Non-Violent Communication, and Buddhist Psychology. We will be applying what we learn and practice to the process of authentic connection.

This practice community welcomes anyone who is interested in, or struggling with authenticity in their relationships with others, as well as those who are exploring their sense of authentic connection to their "true self".

*Please note: This space will invite participants to engage in interpersonal mindfulness practice. This involves bringing awareness to what is happening within ourselves as we engage interpersonally with others. Participants will be provided with choice throughout the program, regarding how, and how much, to engage in the practices that are offered. The group process does also rely upon individual participation, and so you are asked to consider prior to registering, whether some level of interpersonal participation will feel right for you. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like support in deciding whether this program will be a good match for you at this time.

This group is scheduled to meet on Fridays at 12 Noon EST for 1.5 hours on Zoom beginning January 5th, 2024.
